Bryce Canyon

So I have been holding off blogging about our trip because 1.) I don't have access to my pictures when I feel like blogging at work and 2.) Because when I am home I can't use my computer b/c my roommate is always on it. I have set a goal of posting pictures tonight about the trip, and this will be a text only update.

Day One
Oldsmobile survived the trip, didn't run out of gas, and proved to be a true SUV. We set up camp in the rain and darkness in one of the four remaining camp sites at Bryce Canyon.

Day Two
Rained all morning, but we slept in until 10am so no worries. Little backpacking stoves make great eggs and sausage, but terrible pancakes. We did the Navajo & Peekaboo trail loops. It was a gloshy mud slide on the way in and out of the canyon thanks to the rain. It poured on us for the last couple miles, but the gourmet hobo dinners and smores that night made up for it fo sho.

Day Three
Sun, hooray! An earlier start to do the Fairyland Loop, it was little over 8 miles and was long enough to make us tired, produce a Chaco tan, and make us appreciate the popsicles and shower at the general store immensely. Noel and Audrey joined us for fireside tastiness and dutch oven dessert.

Day Four
Sadly packed up our ghetto camp and hit the road. Stopped by Mossy Cave and took inappropriate pics in the nearby waterfall. Long tired drive home, but great trip overall!

Stand up to her! It's your computer. Just tell her you want to use it. You get priority!

Also we enjoyed meeting up with you and having dinner. I look forward to the photos. I'll post ours sometime too, which could be complicated since our internet stopped working today. I guess the staple gun was a little too harsh on the phone line.

Also, JSYK, here's how to cut a pineapple.
